Wow! Our first year in school flew by way too quickly! 💙
We've experienced plenty of ups and downs, but through it all, our students have persevered, learned, grown, and flourished more than we could have ever imagined. We are incredibly grateful for the families, staff, and community members who have supported us every step of the way.

Be sure to follow and connect with both pages to stay in the loop on important school updates, announcements, events, and more. While we transition, we will continue using the HCAK Facebook page until June 30th. After that date, all official communication on social media will come from our new Bridlewood Academy accounts. We are also hard at work on our brand-new website! It isn't quite ready yet, but stay tuned!

We are excited to officially announce our new logo! We absolutely love the fresh look and what it represents as we move into this exciting new chapter. A huge thank you to Elevator Branding for helping guide us through this process and bringing our vision to life!
Over the coming weeks, we will be launching our new Facebook page under the name Bridlewood Academy, so keep an eye out and be sure to give us a follow when it goes live! We are also hard at work building our new website, which we can't wait to share with you soon. We will officially be under our new name on every platform June 30th, and our emails will be changing on June 1st. More information regarding emails will be sent out early next week.

Students who attended during the 2025-2026 school year may continue wearing the current dress code throughout the 2026-2027 school year, as promised.

Collared Shirts: Navy, baby blue, white, or gray
Bottoms: Navy or khaki
Leggings: May be worn with an appropriate-length shirt
Shorts: Must be an appropriate length
Sweatshirts: Plain sweatshirts or Bridlewood Academy apparel. Small logos (such as Nike) are acceptable. No large or extreme graphics or character designs.
Spirit Wear Fridays: Students may wear school-related shirts, such as "I Am a Star Student!" shirts or other Bridlewood Academy spirit wear.

WOW! We had the chance to see all of our students’ amazing talents at last night’s talent show!

🚨 Important Enrollment Update for New HCAK Families! 🚨
We are excited to share a BIG update regarding our student enrollment process at Horse Creek Academy Kershaw!
Up until today, HCAK has used Lotterease to manage our student lottery and enrollment process. Effective immediately, we will now be transitioning to PowerSchool Enrollment! 🎉
This is an exciting step forward for our school because PowerSchool Enrollment will allow our enrollment and registration process to run much more smoothly and efficiently for families. Through this new system, families will now be able to:
✔️ Complete registration forms online
✔️ Upload important student documents directly into the system
✔️ Submit required information more easily
✔️ Streamline communication and records management
✔️ Experience a more user-friendly enrollment process from start to finish
💡 CURRENT LOTTEREASE FAMILIES — PLEASE READ!
If you are currently in our Lotterease enrollment system, whether you have already applied, received a seat offer, or are currently on our waitlist, your application is STILL VALID. Nothing about your student’s placement or waitlist position will change due to this transition.
At this time, you do NOT need to take any additional action. Your information is currently being transferred into PowerSchool Enrollment with the amazing support and assistance of the Erskine Charter Institute. We are incredibly thankful for their partnership during this process!
📧 WHAT HAPPENS NEXT?
In the coming days, current applicants and families will begin receiving emails containing official registration forms through PowerSchool Enrollment. Once received, families will be able to complete forms and upload all required student documents and information directly into the new system.
